Leon Huntting has been a leader in the mortgage industry for over 30 years.  He received citations from Governor Schwarzenegger and State Senator, Joel Anderson for his, “outstanding contributions to the mortgage finance industry.”  He uses his unique experience in a broad base of securities, mortgages, real estate-related applications and city planning and zoning to benefit his clients.  He applies his skills to residential, multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, land and construction properties.  He also is very involved in the jumbo reverse mortgage which is a very important program for seniors in the Bay Area.

He is a Past President of the California Association of Mortgage Brokers (CAMB) and the Government Affairs Chairman of CAMB during the creation of the Predatory Loan bill.  He was also President of the CAMB Foundation which worked closely with the governor’s office to provide statewide support programs for homeowners during the crash.  The San Francisco Board of Supervisors appointed him to their Fair Lending Group –to represent the mortgage brokerage industry– which provided recommendations to the board regarding protection for homeowners and renters in the City.

Leon is also committed to “giving back” through community service.  He and his wife live in Sausalito and both have been very active in Marin and San Francisco.  He’s a former Sausalito city councilmember and the Executive Board of the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG).  He was on the Marin County Civil Grand Jury (2017-2018) and was recently selected to be the education outreach person for the Marin County Health & Human Services’ Financial Abuse Specialist Team (FAST).  FAST is a multidisciplinary team of public agency representatives and private professionals from the financial services industry. I have a background in finance and accounting. Prior to finishing my degree in business accounting, I worked for Deloitte & Touche preparing financial statements for audits, corporate and individual tax returns. I also worked for multiple private companies handling various levels financial responsibilities. In 2000, I decided to dedicate the next stage of my life to raising my children. After 15 years, I returned my attention to pursuing my professional dreams. I am excited and proud to say both of my children are close to finishing college. My dreams have led me to explore opportunities in real estate and mortgage finance, leading to professional licensing both the DRE, and NMLS.

My intricate understanding and knowledge base of corporate and individual accounting sets me apart in the finance field due to the complementary skill-sets of operational accounting and personal finance. My background as a financial accountant allows me the opportunity to add unique insights to my clients in their financial decisions. My clients can expect the same determination I used in raising my children, coupled with my experience in complementary industries to best meet their needs. At the end of the day, my interests are in steering sound financial decisions because I genuinely care for my client’s financial freedom and successes; a strong financial base promotes success in other areas of their lives

Sema Tosun

Born and raised in Turkey, Sema moved to the states with her family at the age of 7. She brings with her over 25 years of banking experience always making customer service and client satisfaction her main priority. During her successful banking career, she developed a huge passion for residential lending and obtained her NMLS Mortgage Lending license. Sema is also the owner of Stamp Bar and Grill restaurant in San Carlos and has over 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry as well. Growing up in the Bay Area Sema was widely respected and honored for her community volunteer efforts and her advocacy in philanthropic work was one that was reckoned with. Sema decided to pursue a lifelong dream and founded her own non-profit, establishing Fund A Need (FAN) in Feb of 2014. Sema’s non-profit helps low-income struggling seniors in the Bay Area.
